Launching of first National NIRUPAMA WOMEN ACHIEVERS awards: 18 November 2016

The Aishwarya College of Education Sansthan, Udaipur, commemorating its remarkable achievements in the field of higher education and celebrating its 21st Anniversary this year, proudly launching the annual Nirupama Women Achievers Awards for Women in Higher Education in the beloved memory of late Mrs. Nirupama Sinha, mother of Dr. Seema Singh (Founder President and Managing Director, ACES). The society is already giving the Nirupama Scholarship to the girl child and also conducting Nirupama Memorial Lecture Series. The award is instituted with the vision toeducate, support, respect, recognize, encourage, appreciate, strengthen women and empowers them, through inviting nominations from throughout country.  The first Nirupama Women Achievers Awards ceremony was held on 18thNovember 2016 at Sheroes restaurant, Arvana Mall, Udaipur, in the evening followed by dinner.

The Chief Guest on this occasion was Mr. Hasan Paliwala, Director, Arvana Mall. The awardees were honoured by the auspicious hands of Dr Seema Singh and Mr. Hasan Paliwala. Ms Aishwarya Singh graced the ceremony with her benign presence. Other dignitaries present were Prof. Laxmi Thakur, Dr V K Arora, Prof. Paresh Shah, Dr V Neelamegam, Prof. Vijaya Deshmukh, Ms Abha Mishra, Dr Gaytri Tiwari, Dr Prabir Panda, Ms Aparna Sharma and Dr Sweety Chabbra from various parts of India. All the members of Aishwarya College with their family members joined the ceremony.

 

 

 

The women felicitated during the ceremony were

1.      Dr Deepali Tripathi for outstanding achievement in higher Education Sector serving as Associate Professor in Faculty of Computer Application, Modi Institute of Management and Technology, Kota (Rajasthan)

2.      Dr Rashmi Bohra, Regional Director, Vardhman Mahaveer Open University, RC Udaipur (Rajasthan) for her outstanding contribution in distance learning.

 Ms Tulsi Bhatia, Principal, Heritage Girls School, Eklingji, Udaipur (Rajasthan) for outstanding achievement as a Leader in School Education Sector.

4.      Dr. Pooja Bedi, for outstanding contribution as a Trichologist and Wellness Advocate, Singapore.

5.      Ms Kaneez Fatima, Director Arvaana Mall, Udaipur (Rajasthan) for outstanding achievement as a young Business entrepreneur.

6.      Ms Neema Khan, Managing Director Bachan Play & Deeksha International School, Kapasan, (Rajasthan) for her outstanding efforts for promoting education.

7.      Ms Sushma Kumawat for being nominated as a member of Rajasthan State Commission for Women from Udaipur.

 

 

Further the acid attack survivors running SHEROES restaurant at Arvana Mall, Udaipur were also recognized for their strong will power and fighting spirit.
