Talk on what’s New in Women’s Health: 17 September 2016
The Women Empowerment Cell of the college organized an Expert’s talk
on “What’s new in Women’s Health” on 17th September 2016. The female
students and the staff of the college attended the session addressed by Dr.
Mukesh Bivishi a famous Gynecologist of Ahmadabad. He also gave the tips for
maintaining good health and controlling the female diseases. He told Your body is your most precious possession.
Take care of it. Being healthy or fit isn’t a fad or a trend. It’s a
lifestyle. Healthy women, means healthy
World. This embodies the fact that as custodians of family health, women play a
critical role in maintaining the health and wellbeing of their communities. The program started with the prayer,
the guests were welcomedby Kiran Dangi, Padam Kunwar by drapping uparana. The expert Dr. Bivishi
started the session in an interactive manner and described about the new
diseases, their causes and symptoms prevailing in today’s era among women. He
told about the remedies of the women diseases. Dr. Bridula Bivishi also joined
the session and delivered a talk on working women and health issues. The
queries of audience were also attended by the experts.
Extensions talk on Banking Activities: For
a developing country like India, banks are considered as the backbone of the
countrys economy. The banking sector in India is growing at a rapid rate and
is among one of the fastest growing industry in the country. The rapid
advancements and growth in the banking sector has paved way
for many banking career opportunities. A two day
workshop was organized during September 19th-20th, 2016 by Canara Bank, Udaipur
for making the students aware about the role of the banking sector and
opportunities for their career. The occasion was also used to open the savings
account of the staff and the students. The students also learnt about bank
working process, net banking, card payment and loan facilities. All of these bring in huge career opportunities for those
who aspire to become future bankers. The Speaker was Mr. Abhishek Sharma
Assistant Branch Manager Canara Bank Udaipur. He also shared the updates about
the scholarship and loan schemes for the students.
