Faculty Development Programme: 21 June 2017

The ACES was accredited by NAAC in the year 2015, as such it was deiced to organize a Two Weeks Faculty Development Programme on `Quality Assurance in Higher Education with Special Reference to Self Financing Institutions’, during June 8-22, 2017. The programme meant for 30 participants, was financed by the Society. The contents were planned based on the accreditation processes. The programme was received with great enthusiasm and within few days of the announcement 32 participants registered for the FDP. The participants were from various colleges in the areas of academics, teacher’s education, technical & engineering, pharmacy, deemed university etc. The programme was inaugurated on 8 June 2017 by the Chairperson of the Society Dr. Seema Singh and theme lecture by the Coordinator Dr. D. S. Chundawat, Principal, Aishwarya College of Education Sansthan. The lectures were given by eminent experts who are involved in accreditation processes in the colleges and universities. The valedictory

session organized on 21 June 2017 was chaired by Prof. N. Laxmi, Professor, MLSU, Udaipur, after her lecture.

The participants felt satisfied and appreciated the contents, delivery, interactive method and hands on exercise of the FDP. They were given a short quiz and thereafter certificate of attendance and participation were given away by Dr. N. Laxmi. The lectures were held on all the days, holding 4 sessions per day of 90 minutes, except on 13 & 14 June, when the participants attended the national Seminar.
