The college was sanctioned the organization of a national conference on Economic Transformation Agenda for Higher Sustainable Growth, Greater Empowerment and Better Quality of Life by the NITI Aayog and sanctioned Rs 3.50 lakh. Dr D. S. Chundawat, who was the Coordinator, submitted the proposal with the following objectives:
1. To identify significant input and action
parameters during 2017-20 playing role in the nation’s growth and development.
2. To critically examine the growth
enablers for empowerment and sustainable better quality of life.
3. To bring about innovative and creative
ideas for strategizing and encouraging in growth sectors.
The NITI Aayog approved the identified key speakers
included experts from the fields, universities & institutions of advance
learning and other sectors within and outside government. The meet was organized
during November 17-18, 2017 dividing in following technical tracks:
· Policy
Intervention, Financial Input, Institutions and reforms.
· Human
Resources Development, Knowledge and Skill building through Technical
empowerment.
· Industrial
policy and Corporate Sector.
· Health,
hygiene and well being.
· Innovative
ideas, Start ups and Commercial
· Urban
and Rural development, Infrastructure, Environment & Energy for Sustainable
Growth.
· Science,
Technology, Agriculture and Food security.
· Society,
Education, Poverty Eradication and Gender Equity
In addition to above, one session was kept for the Students, who could participate through PPT or poster presentation, where five students participated. In all the tracks, the provision of the award was kept for best two papers.
The registration
process was done on line and the number of the participants who registered were
71, excluding resource /invited speakers. The total participants attended the
conference were 91 in addition to all the faculty members of the college, from
the states of Rajasthan, Delhi, Karnataka, Gujarat, Uttar Predesh, Punjab,
Orissa and Haryana in the areas of Science, Commerce,
Economics, Finance, HR, Management, Technology, Society, Social indicators,
Education, Agriculture and other. In all 56 papers were presented in the
conference.
The Chief Guest in the inaugural session on 17th November 2017, was Prof Ganesh Kawadia, Former Professor of Economics and Dean, Devi Ahilya University, Indore. Col Deepak Rampal was the Guest of Honour and the function was presided by the principal Dr. D. S. Chundawat. Dr. N. S. Rathore, DDG (Edn), Indian Council for Agri. Research, New Delhi was the chief guest in valedictory function on 18thNovember 2017.
