Computer Society of India (CSI) Student Branch

In the year 2011 Computer Society of India (CSI) Student Branch was formed at Aishwarya College with intent to add our students and faculty from various disciplines to the mainstream of Information and communication technology. CSI is a 50 years old largest and most professionally managed association of and for IT professionals in India. The purposes of the Society are scientific and educational directed towards the advancement of the theory and practice of computer science and IT. With the objective to spread the knowledge, and provide opportunities to as many interested as possible in the fastest emerging field of ICT. Aishwarya CSI student branch has imparted a platform to learn new technologies and develop skills, proving as the best opportunity to the students from this region by regularly conducting seminars, hands on workshops and research talks which facilitate the growth of knowledge. It also organizes many co-curricular activities and outreach programs to increase the attraction of youth towards the field of computers. It helps the students to gain confidence and prepare for the fast changing market requirements in IT industry and future prospects. With the support of CSI Udaipur Chapter and CSI Special Interest Groups, Aishwarya CSI Student Branch contributes to the development of students in several ways providing them with a chance to meet new people and interact with them at national & International level besides rendering a platform to showcase and recognize young talent in the arena of Information and Communication Technology.

Aishwarya CSI Student Branch has been a pioneer in organizing the first ever CSI Rajasthan State Student Convention in the year 2012 and has been renowned as the best CSI Student Branch in the Year 2014 by CSI. The CSI Student Branch Committee under the ICT Cell is actively involved in all the undertakings and publishes a triannual newsletter CSI Connect.
