Faculty Development Programme: 19 August 2019 to 2 September 2019
The two weeks FDP on ‘Research Paper Writing’ has
been organized at Aishwarya College of Education Sansthan by its Research Cell during
19thAugust 2019 to 2ndSeptember 2019.The objective of theactivity
was to inculcate the spirit of research in all staff members, widen their
knowledge by sharing their ideas, enhancing their skills and empower themselves
by their participation. The focus of the Workshop was to train all the faculty
members, for preparing Review Article/Paper, Manuscript, by understanding
‘Scientific Writing’, research methods, choosing a good journal, impact factor
of journals, Abstract writing, plagiarism and copy rights of publishing. It
also aimed to promote research ability, improvement in quality of research
paper writing, its presentation and publication while enhancing teaching
learning skills in the participants. The programme was attended by 38
participants. The senior members who have been in the research areas and are
qualified as members of projects appraisals and monitoring delivered lectures
during FDP including all the four resource persons Dr. A.N. Mathur, Dr. Archana
Golwalkar,Dr. Raksha Sharma, Dr. Sunita Kumari, Dr. Rashi Mathur, Dr. Reena
Sharma and Dr. Sheela Bhatt.
The following four
esteemed Resource Persons guided the event:

College of Commerce, Mohanlal Sukhadia
University, Udaipur, Rajasthan.
· Dr. Kanika Sharma, Professor and Head of the
Department of Botany, University College of science, MLSU, Udaipur.
Science Department
workshop conducted in the guidance of Pro. Kanika Sharma was based
on‘Scientific
Writing’. She enlightened
on organization of a good research paper, plagiarism, writing skills, writing
abstracts, keywords,
introduction and other parts of a manuscript. She also explained the key
benefits of
performing interest
like building up one’s good API score. In fact, this session had a positive
impact on the
team members.
Thosestaff who were hesitating or taking less interest in the beginning, now
showed a keen
interest by their
total involvement.
Professor Gayatri
Tiwari shared her views and experience on Research tools and methodology. She explained
the various research
process like Data collection, interpretation andanalysis, various forms of data
and various
methods for data
collection. Simultaneously, she promoted each member to choose an own topic of
interest.
Professor M. K. Jain was
veryenthusiastic and interesting and motivating and towards discussing and
publishing their ideas ofresearch. The expert spoke
about Methods
and Models, References & formatting,
Use of ICT tools and Plagiarism.
Lastly, Professor S.S.
Bhanawat also encouraged all members of his team in Research activities. He explained
the art of writing a
good review article or manuscript; how to start a good manuscript writing and
also how to
end with results and
or conclusions.
