The National Science
day is celebrated every year to commemorate the discovery of Raman Effect by CV
Raman on this day in 1928. It is a day when Indian physicist sir Chandrasekhar
Venkata Raman discovered molecular scattering of light on 28 February 1928
later called as Raman Effect. To make the students acquaint about the science
in day to day life, this year the students were taken around the city’s Saras
Dairy Plant where the milk is processed and butter, cheese, and ghee are
produced. Ms Divyani Sen was the activity in charge. Dr. U. Garg Managing
