Faculty Awareness Program on Digital Payment: 22 December 2016

The training was also conducted during  December 2016 for the faculty, students and vendors  on Digital payment, cashless transaction, India, e-commerce, net banking with special reference to Digital Payment. The PPT presentation on digital payment VISAKA developed by MHRD, Government of India was shown and practical conducted.  The speakers were Dr. A. N. Mathur, Group Director, Shri B. L. Sharma Retired General Manager, Bank of Baroda, Dr. Archana Golwalkar and Dr. Ashish Shrimali.

Dr. Archana Golwalkar delivered a talk on cyber and internet baking security. Shri Sharma explained the various cards, facilities and precautions to be taken in operating the cards, on line payments and marinating the secrecy of the information. Dr. Shrimali delivered talk on e-commerce. The Prime Minister’s programme of Digital India and Cashless Society was discussed in details and it was impressed upon everyone to adopt these and also train the citizens on use of ICT.
