Interactive Talk on World Science Day: 28 February 2017
“The science of today is
the technology of tomorrow”
Science is important because it has helped form the world that we live in today. Science is about a whole lot more than that and to sum it up we believe that science is a way of helping the brain grow in finding new knowledge and helps us defeat our curiosity of how the world develops and works today.
On World Science Day on 28 February 2017, an interactive talk on
importance of science in 21st century was organized. The speakers of
the session were Dr. Girima Nagda and Dr. Rakhi Mehta, who narrated the curious
and new world of science to the students with audio visual presentation. Dr.
Girima enlightened the human science and its research areas, whereas Dr. Rakhi
showed the clips of plant biology. The new achievements of Indian scientist in
the field of aeronautics were also highlighted.
