Brain Storming Session on opportunities in Biology: 21 September 2016
A one day Brain Storming Session was conducted on 21st September 2016 with the theme on career opportunities in Biological and Human Sciences. The session was addressed by Dr. S. D. Purohit Professor of Botany, MLS University besides addressed by Dr. A. N. Mathur, Group Director, Dr. D. S. Chundawat, Principal, Dr. Rakhi Mehta and Dr Girima Nagda, The students familiar with the various opportunities available by the speakers. The students were impressed by the new and emerging field of Bio Technology and opportunities available for research
One day Session on Chemical
Sciences as Emerging Field: A one day session was
also conducted on marching on the path of Chemical sciences and the
opportunities available in the world for choosing it as a career. The speaker
was Dr. A. K. Goswami, Professor of Chemistry MLS University. Dr. Goswami spoke on the status of the
Chemistry research in India and other country. He highlighted the work of the
Nobel Prize winners in Chemistry. He concluded the session with the words `Be
confident.... Be prepared.... Be yourself, find and keep your dream job.’
