Student’s Orientation for CSI Activities: 31 August 2016

The student’s orientation program for the Computer Society of India branch and its activities was organized on 31 August 2016 ICT Cell. The objectives of the session were to make the students aware about the significance of Information and communication Technology while introducing to the Computer Society of India. They were told about the purpose, initiatives and benefits besides sharing CSI Student Branch – Aishwarya’s achievements, activities and development and students’ participation and involvement in alignment with the vision and mission of the institution.

The students were made aware of the plan of activities for the session. The student branch committee was also formed on the day. They were informed about the publication of tri annual newsletter CSI-Connect by CSI SB, monthly updates through CSI Communication, various awards and support for financial projects provided by CSI. The CSI gives the students a wide platform at national and international level. Further students were encouraged to be a part in providing service to the society in the field of ICT through Golden shake Computer Club which is involved in training to senior citizens and women. The programme was conducted by Dr Archana Golwalkar (CSI Student Branch Counselor). The session was informative and interactive.
