CSI Technical Talk on Software Testing on 21 Aug.

21 August 2015 Aishwarya College Udaipur: A Technical Talk on “Software Testing” was organized by Computer Society of India Student Branch. The expert speaker was Mr Sushil Audichya, Director of SQS Technosoft at Udaipur; an entrepreneur, with rich experience in the field of Software Quality Assurance. The guest was welcomed Student cell committee member Chirag Soni and introduced by Tahir Sadriwala.

Dr Archana Golwalkar (Director AIM & IT, CSI SBC) focused on the objectives and importance of the Technical talk on “Software Testing” along with the expected outcome.
Mr Audichya started the deliberation with the fundamentals of software and System Development Life Cycle locating testing. He elaborated on why software has bugs and defects followed by Test initiation criteria, Test completion Criteria, participants in testing, best practices, challenges and economics of testing. Mr Audichya shared with the audience the current scenario of software testing in software industry and avenues therein. 

Throughout, the session was interactive wherein students of BCA, PGDCA and MCA as well as faculty members raised their queries and displayed keen interest in the topic and discussion. Towards the end of the session Shubhan Soni gave away the vote of thanks and Sushil Milkee presented a token of appreciation to Mr Audichya. The session was coordinated by Ms Neetu Agarwal and Dr Sunita Bhati.
