On the
occasion of World water day i.e. 22/03/2014, a trip to Jaisamand Lake was
organized for the students of AIM &IT. This trip was specially arranged to
bring awareness among the students about importance of water and its
conservation. With the help of Deputy Conservator of Forest, Jaisamand, the
trip was made a success. There were approximately 30 students who came for the
trip.
Students
visited the lake and admired the beauty of the largest manmade lake in Asia.
They also saw different kinds of fish and gave it food to eat. Students
realized that conserving water in the form of lakes is important as many water
animals’ lives are dependent on it.
Students
also visited an eco park (Joomar Bawadi) and a Lord Shiva temple which was on
the route to Jaisamand Lake. There were some adventurous games in the park and
small huts, where students enjoyed and also relaxed. There was natural beauty
all around to be seen and admired.
After a full one day
of enjoyment, students left from Jaisamand Lake with learning and realizing the
importance of saving the water so that the beauty of nature is conserved and
life sustained.
