Industrial visit to Saras Dairy on 15 Feb. 2014

A visit to Saras Dairy, Udaipur, was organized for the students of BBM on 15/02/2014.

The purpose of the visit was to make the students know about the working of a plant and the procedures involved in the purification of milk and manufacturing of various milk products.

Students were told about the different products offered by Saras Dairy like pasteurized milk, ghee, butter, paneer, yoghurt etc. They saw the processing and skimming of milk and also asked their queries. The plant was divided into many sections where different products were being processed.  The students were informed about the daily sales and marketing techniques of Saras Dairy. Interaction of students with the employees of the dairy was quite active and result oriented.

The students had a good experience at the plant and they were quite interactive and alert while understanding the working of the dairy.
