Election Awareness Program

A short program was organized by “ The Art of Living ” members to create awareness amongst the students regarding their right to vote. The speaker was Ms. Apoorva Vyas, an active member and teacher of the group.

She asked the students about the voting system in India and also enquired whether they are satisfied with the present government or not.

She gave three important tips to be followed while giving a vote.

·        Do not vote for a corrupt person

·        Do not vote for criminals

·        Do not vote in favour of casteism

Students were motivated by watching a small documentary that portrayed various characters of film industry pursuing to use the right of voting.

Thereafter, students pledged to vote and also promised to be aware about their rights and duties.
